Due to the celebration of the II Book Festival, among the various activities thought for this class, it was this storytelling in English. This year the students had the opportunity to listen to Eric Carle's famous tale " The very hungry caterpillar ". Now they are aware of the importance of eating healthy, the life cycle of butterflies and, of course, they have increased their English vocabulary and oral comprehension. Appart from this, and perhaps what children might have found more interesting is that they can learn English and have fun at the same time, which is easily accomplished with storytelling activities. Moreover, books enable children to experience different realities and be more creative and imaginative. Once more, have a happy Book Festival celebration!
